Terry’s son Sean, is so desperate for his father’s approval, that he’ll help his father even when the assignment is eccentric. Fathers and Squirrels looks at the complex and evolving relationships between fathers and sons...and squirrels.

Kevin Magee (Terry)
Kevin came to acting after a 40-year career as an Emmy-winning TV producer and executive. This is his first production for Randomly Specific Theatre. He has previously performed in Greenwich Village at The Players Theatre as Robert in BABY GRAND and John Seidel in SOMEWHERE I CAN SCREAM. His credits also include Stan in Lynn Nottage’s Pulitzer Prize winning drama Sweat for Ghostlight Theatre, the Judge in THE CHALK GARDEN at the Southampton Cultural Center. Musical theatre credits feature Mr. Marks in THE PRODUCERS, Dimitri Weissman in FOLLIES, Judge Igneous Stone in CRY-BABY and Mrs. Galahad, The Historian and Herbert’s father in SPAMALOT at North Fork Community Theatre in Mattituck. He is eternally grateful to his wife, author Liza McGuirk and two wonderful daughters, Claire and Caroline for all their support.

Tim Steele (Bryan)
Tim is excited to bring his passion for storytelling and lived experience to the New York stage. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran originally from Maryland, Tim recently relocated to Jersey City, NJ, after being active in the Washington, D.C. community theater scene. His previous credits include The Skin of Our Teeth (Theater Lab, Washington D.C.), Another US (2021), and When We Try (2020). He has taken on a range of ensemble and supporting roles, including Dr. James Morris and Officer Franks, and is an alumnus of the Storytelling 101 program with the Armed Services Arts Partnership, which empowers veterans to share their stories through the performing arts. Before turning to acting, Tim served as a Fireteam Leader in the United States Marine Corps, with deployments in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from Hood College and is now pursuing opportunities in the New York theater community.
Michael Valladares (Josh)
Michael (he/any) is a playwright, performer, and dramaturg who survived queer youth in Florida and now makes art in NYC. Select performance credits include Fairy Tale (Makers' Ensemble); Spring Awakening (Outside the Lines Theatre); Rat King (CultureLab LIC); Oh Soledad (Actors' Temple); ‘Tis Pity (Gymnopedie); Ovid’s Metamorphoses (Theatre in the Open); 6 Ft Apart, All Together (Double Edge Theatre); and Sunlight Interior (InMotion Theatre). Writing credits include Untitled Zine Play (2024, Re/Venue x The Paradise Factory); Mad Little Reefers (2022, FreshFruitFestival at The Wild Project); and Sometime When Everything Has Changed (2021, Theatre in the Open & Herter Park Amphitheater, Boston).
